The 2010 WSHNA Conference was awarded to Tacoma Police Department after WSHNA
received a personal invitation to the City of Destiny from the Tacoma Chief of Police, Don
Ramsdell.

The WSHNA 2010 conference is recognized by the Washington Criminal Justice Training
Commission as 20 hours of qualifying training towards annual Washington state peace
officer certification standards.

Rooms at the Marriott Courtyard Tacoma Downtown at the WSHNA Conference Rates are
no longer available. We have sold out. Rooms are available at the regular hotel rate. A
back-up hotel with special conference rates within walking distance has been established
at the Hotel Murano or call 888-862-3255.
Our 2010 charity will be Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, specifically the Tree House, A
Place For Families. The Tree House apartments are across the street from the hospital
and provide housing and groceries to parents while their child is receiving care (modeled
after the Ronald McDonald House).This allows parents some rest in a comfortable setting
and still be close to their child. It is a worthwhile charity for WSHNA.
